Overlooking College of Southern Maryland for Driver’s Ed
We live in southern Maryland and have enrolled our son in a train driver, the College of Southern Maryland in La Plata.
It costs roughly the same ($ 270), like other driving schools in the region, but we feel confident it is broader, because it is part of the increase in Learning Center. In addition, parents are required to guide class, ie, I will be able to personal appreciation of some courses and their trainers.
If you would like more information, call the College of driver training office at 301-934-7870 or send an e-mail to marybethm@csmd.edu.
We continue with our son and try to teach them the basics of driving, but the finding that in its age, as a typical teenager, he could be heard over a certified instructor, even if the lesson is the same . I never thought that driving with him would be such a challenge for both of us.
I will keep you abreast through the programme in the MSC.

Please do so. Readers tell me that drivers-ed taught at an educational institution is usually better than one that is covered by a commercial provider.
Mr Dr Still:
I read your columns on the latest drivers and youth councils to end the senseless death of this young driver.
I agree that they do not have enough training. I feel vocational training should be back in classrooms at school, but not only for schoolchildren B-or better. When I was at school, everyone had to take and pass-ed pilot or she is not a diploma. In addition, a certificate was necessary for the state test, you get your driver’s license.
I was surprised, I was en route by a day Waldorf 45 km / h, if a driving school Driving makes me spend at least 55 mph. In the vehicle was a teacher and three students.
Put training in the school system. Parents, talk with your child before leaving the house, set and enforce the rules. Certainly not, put them loose in something that you yourself would have problems handling. Let’s face it, adults have problems while driving some of these big vehicles.
I graduated in 1957 from a high school in Nebraska. Let us face it, there were fewer motorists on the roads but during the six years prior to my study, there was only a coincidence that three students killed. The causes were alcohol and speed.
Today, it seems, a teenager to death in a car accident is a daily event.
