order to speed up drug approvals, Congress authorizes the FDA to collect funds from the brand name drug producers for a period of five years. This funding was the title of user fees, and the law allows the collection of these charges was extended twice. Recently, I made my doctorate in public administration. My thesis has studied the impact of the pharmaceutical industry taxes on changes within the FDA. My wife of 22 years is a Board Certified family physician and I have a Senior Executive health care over 20 years. Despite an extensive background scientific and experimental health when I started my thesis, I could not believe that the FDA could be damaged or affected by the funding of this method.
