Excerpts from Maryland Attorney General candidates forum
The candidates at the next Maryland Attorney General responded to questions Monday at the University of Baltimore School of Law.The three Democratic candidates, Douglas F. Gansler, Tom Perez and Stuart O. Simms, were joined by the only Republican in the race, Scott Rolle, for two hours of debate, which has probed how each would manage the office of the State vacated by 19-year veteran Joseph J. Curran Jr. The event was sponsored by the Maryland State Bar Association section on state and local government.
The following is an overview of the eight issues and candidates answers.
